The year is coming to an end and we would like to take the time to thank you all for your support, encouragement and sympathy. Each and every one of you has contributed to make possible what we have achieved so far. The pictures say more than all the words. Many thanks to you dear ones out there!
For Carolina it is still a long way to normality. Nevertheless, we can say with pride that we have achieved the most important measures for survival. Carolina can now eat normally again and even starts talking. In the next few years, nasal and cheekbone augmentation and many other small surgeries will follow. We will accompany her and make all this possible.
Special thanks goes to the deputy chief physician Dr. Sander from Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin Marzahn (UKB) and his team as well as chief physician Dr. Uwe Peter Press and his team from the Center of Ophthalmology at the Hospital of the Merciful Brothers in Trier. Great doctors and wonderful people with a lot of heart!
